Regional Support Team/Chapter Consultant

GUIDELINES

The Regional Support Team/Chapter Consultant role is ever evolving to meet the needs of the Chapters and the Region as a whole. Members of the Regional Support Team (RST) are selected from within our membership based on their skill set and desire to assist in the growth of the Region.
 
The RST will hold the 32nd seat in a chapter if their category is available; in essence they have a dual membership but only pay membership fees in one chapter. An RST should be able to commit to the weekly meeting to assist the chapter in growth & development as well as oversee the Leadership Team (LT) and Chairs to ensure that the Chapter is operating according to Policy & Procedure.
 
An RST is responsible for their meal & travel expenses. If you have been selected as an RST and the chapter or Regional position requiring your assistance does not permit you to market your business, you will be compensated by the FL Exec Dir based on a sum that is mutually agreeable based on the tasks you perform.

An RST must be in good standing in the chapter where they hold a membership seat & have a completed application on file. RST member's must have their membership fees current, attend & participate in their weekly meeting without excessive absences – (more than one per month is excessive with the exception of personal illness, death in the family or vacation in which case the RST will have notified the Sr Reg Dir or Exec Dir of their situation)

The Florida Region feels that having an RST in every chapter will provide more consistent support and provide effective f/u with potential members & guests.

The RST will:

  • take a 3rd speaker slot once a quarter or as needed to address visitors and members on the benefits of membership & maximizing leads to grow business etc. (Read Regional Tips on next page)
  • use 1 - 30 second promotional per week to market their personal business and one to market LEADS Club.
  • Mediate if needed or direct to the Regional office areas of concern for the health of a chapter  
  • With regards to the LEAD Generation for the chapter in which you are the RST, your first allegiance is to your original chapter members. In addition to bringing LEADS Club LEADS to assist in the growth of the Chapter, you can assist the group by providing introductions to various categories not represented in the two chapters.
  • As a support role in the chapter you will make Regional announcements, i.e., reminders about the Success Calls, LT Trainings, Regional Meetings etc. You will also encourage members to use the tools provided on www.LeadsFL.com and work with the Chairs & LT as needed to see that all are taking on a small role for the success of their chapter.
  • Communicate the needs of the chapter with the Regional office – deliver supplies
  • F/U with Visitors and the LEADS that are passed to LEADS Club – add to/remove from Evites, refer to Reg for placement if not for your group
  • RST's will assist the chapter in growing & sustaining the chapter at 32 (30 members plus a non-profit & a CA). 
  • receive and pass leads in exchange for the assistance in growing the chapter and administratively assisting in the Region.will attend weekly – though not counted absent if not able to be in attendance.  
  • be added to the speaker rotation for regular presentations of their business.
