CATHY GEARY has lived in Florida for 37 years. She graduated from the University of Tampa with her major in Accounting and minor in Business Management. She worked in the Banking, Savings & Loan and Telecommunications Industries with all of her certifications in Accounting. She switched gears in 1995 and began working in Procurement/Contract Management. In 2006 she started her own company, Gathering Everything Together "GET" Organized, Inc. In addition, she began working with her friend of 17 years, Laurie Versaggi as the Director of Regional Development for the Florida Ali Lassen's LEADS organization. She is a dedicated wife, mother of three canine children, volunteer and sports fanatic. Her goals are to work to build Florida LEADS and through LEADS build her personal business.


CAROL McCLELLAND moved to Florida in 1989, and first joined Leads Club in 1992. She has been a Chapter Consultant and served on the Regional Support Team since 2002 when Laurie Versaggi came aboard as Executive Director of Florida. Carol is an artist who, with the encouragement of her mother, began her focus on art at the age of 8. She pursued a degree in graphic arts and theater arts at the University of Arkansas, and has continued her education taking courses at the Ringling School of Art, via continuing education credits offered through the American Business Women's Association, as well as through other industry-specific courses. She has been named 2006 ABWA Sunset Chapter 2006-07 Woman of the Year. Carol has performed on stage as an actress/singer, been a principal with a children's performing arts educational troupe called, "ArtsLive!", and performed for former President Bill Clinton, and Senator Hillary Clinton while they were Governor/First Lady of Arkansas. Carol has served on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations, is currently in her 2nd year as President of the Sunset Chapter of ABWA, and is a member of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. Carol is a graphic artist, animator, video editor, & web designer for her company, McVideos & Animation (a Multimedia Production Company-- McVideos.com). She met her husband and business partner, Kirk, on stage -- they were leads in an original musical. Carol has two children and a stepson who are adults and all wonderful artists in their chosen fields of music, writing, and art/videography.
